What is it?

Social Intranet Summit Vancouver is a one-day conference designed to help organizations learn how to improve and enhance their social intranet by bringing together intranet managers, social software practitioners, and enterprise thought leaders for a day of great conversation. Participants will listen to presentations and discuss the challenges of designing, deploying, and fostering the adoption of social intranets.

Presentations will cover a wide range of topics:

  • Measuring intranet success
  • Social intranet case studies
  • Governance for the social intranet

Where is it happening?

The stunning Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) will be our venue for the two day conference. The VCC was recently home to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic media centre and overlooks a breathtaking view of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.

When is it happening?

Social Intranet Summit Vancouver is scheduled for October 28, 2010, with a reception and networking events during the evenings in Vancouver’s historic Gastown neighbourhood, home of OpenRoad and ThoughtFarmer headquarters.

Who is putting it on?

The Social Intranet Summit is hosted by OpenRoad, the company behind social intranet software ThoughtFarmer.

Who will be there?

We are bringing together a great mix of industry experts, intranet practitioners, and social business consultants. Sessions are a blend of social business theory and hands-on practical advice, as well as stories from real-world intranet deployments that demonstrate the bottom-line results of using social intranet software.
